How can I find out who owned my used Kirby by looking up the serial number? For example number g705300 on my tradition is that a early production run ?

Even if the original owner registered it with Kirby, privacy laws could prevent disclosure of that information. It would have been cool to know the history of the machine though... |

I don't think HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) would cover information related to vacuum cleaners or other household appliances but the basic idea is correct. No corporation would disclose that sort of information to a third party. It would open them up to too many lawsuits.
