The first thing I would do is to separate out the pre-war XXX's from the post-war XXX's. Flat runners with no saloon doors is early. Exhaust located at lower third of rear end is the earliest (1937-1938). Those will also have the basket filter instead of the flat rear filter. The pre-war models are the most valuable.
I would immediately take that XXX with the chrome cordwinder off the top of that very early pre-war model on the bottom. | ||
