This trashed heater was giving to me by my dad from his work . It ran but it sounded bad and it smoked.after I tore it apart I dumped a half a pound of dust out of it .the thermostat was broken it looked like someone sprayed orange spray pant in it just to see what happened the handle was hanging on by a thread but all the three days I worked on it payed off and it looks and sounds like new!!!!!

2nd on Les, looks brand spankin' new!

Gotta love old appliances. It's broken? Take it apart, clean it, reassemble, good as new for the next 50 years.

The real star here is the paintjob. Not glossy where it looks out of place and ruins the look, but not too matte either. If that was a rattle can job, it looks near perfection! I always had bad luck with spray paint and never get things to look so good like that.

@ Zenith12

Really nice job, worth every minute you put in to it. What is that large white appliance that you have it sitting on in #1? I see a plug on the side and a hinged panel on the back.Happy Thanksgiving! Billy

Pretty sure that's the ironing machine that they were inquiring about getting a motor for.
