Seller says stopped working after the bag was changed. I bet the brushes are worn or switch is loose.
But my question is, WHY did someone apparently drill random holes in the base ring? It will never float again! CLICK HERE TO GO TO fan-of-fans's LINK on eBay |

Never say never. You can fill the holes with blobs of JB Weld and sand it down after it cures and then just touch up the spots with color matched paint. Good as new. The one I have the ring is slightly bent out of true and it has to be flattened down again.
Didn't these come with a kit that converted them to wheeled models, or a dolly, or am I thinking of something else? |

The earliest Constellations with the 360 rotating snorkel style hose that mounted on top, actually didn't float. Those were the ones that had the dolly. As far as I know the floating versions did not. But some people would try to mount casters on them.
The floating thing is fun, but my issue with it is there's no way to pull the vacuum around when it's not running. You have to carry it from the closet, to wherever you are using it, which is a bit inconvenient. |
