Hey guys, I just ordered a Miele S8 marin on eBay for 150$. It was used twice allegedly, and then the cord got stuck and wouldn't come out. I figured since I have the electro premium nozzle and wand, all I need is a hose which is fine. However, if I need to take this marin to the Miele dealer, how much do you think it will cost for a new reel and labor!?

Hi there, off the top of my head I believe the cost for a cord reel is about $150-250 installed at the store I work at. |

No problem at all. I believe they have different motors actually, the Titian has a slightly lower powered motor compared to the s8 line. |

Okay! I'll check it out. Allegedly they only used the vacuum 2 times and the cord got stuck. So the person they bought it from sent them a new one... Doesn't seem like a likely story, but I will see what I find out when I get it here soon. Either way I only paid 200$ for it and I think it will be a good deal even if it needs a part. It looks like it's brand new. Just didn't know if there were issues with the s8 line
