A few years ago, I actually owned two Miele canisters, a C1 basic budget cleaner and a more deluxe C3 unit. I had bought the C1 first and loved it so much, I decided to take advantage of a good deal on a C3 and get that one too. Eventually, I sold the C1 to a friend.
When I had the two at the same time, I wanted to compare the lengths of the cords, the wands and the hoses. Important to note that these two cleaners are suction only vacs with no power nozzles. Also important to note that nowhere was it advertised that the C3 offered a deluxe longer wand or a deluxe longer hose. When I compared the two sets of equipment, the C3 indeed has a longer cord than the C1 - as indicated in the specs in the advertising. I can't remember if there was a difference in the hose length. But what was surprising to discover, was that one of the two vacs had a longer telescopic extension wand. Can't remember if that came with the C1 or the C3. My question: does Miele package different canister/cylinder vacs with hoses and wands of differing lengths without advertising these details? To me, it would be beneficial for the buyer to know that certain models come with shorter hoses and wands. |
