Yeah, I think shipping would be a killer on that. If I'm reading the description correcty, they're saying the shipping weight is 56 pounds. Wonder if somebody's foot was on the scale when they weighed it.

Goodwill is notorious for over-weighing. One Kirby they were selling said the weight was 106 lbs.

I wish it was just Goodwill jacking up their prices, but it's an issue across the shipping industry. It's all based on box size, not weight. Weight factors in a little, but not much. FedEx's shipping calculator was broken for me when I checked recently, but for UPS I could put in a 60" x 12" x 12" box and the shipping price stayed within a range of around $110 to $200 for the slowest shipping option from Michigan to Washington, with the weight varying from 1 pound to 150 lbs!
