Howdy vacuum friends!
I need some help, I recently acquired a Royal Power Tank model 513 and I'm having a lot of trouble sourcing a manual for the thing.
Specifically, I'm trying to find out the style of belt the model 600 power head needs to see if that will get it working again. Whenever it touches the carpet, on any height setting, the brush roll will stop turning. A bit disappointing!
I'm also missing the medium nozzle and one of the prongs on the power cable is gone, but I'm not too worried about that.
I've searched high and low on Google, manualslib has a generic manual with no useful information, and it doesn't seem like it's anywhere else, so if anyone has a manual for either this machine or for this series of machines, that would be wonderful!

The correct model of your Power Tank would be 413. I do wish you luck finding an owner's manual for it.

Got 5's on the brain

@KirbyClassicIII, thank you! I've been typing up serial numbers at work all day that all start with 5's, I completely missed that before I posted it. Yes, this is a model 413 Power Tank, not a 513.

I noticed

Filter queen, rainbow, Kirby, Eureka power nozzles and royal belts are one in the same.

Good to know!

@Lesintutah, thank you for that! I didn’t know they were all the same. I’ll keep that in mind for the future.
I found a decent solution for the belt, I had a type 49 belt for a Hoover ConceptOne lying around and I checked it against the one I had. Seemed to be just about the right size, width-wise and circumference-wise! So I slapped it into the power head and it worked perfectly. No binding or stalling at any height level, and it made it through all three carpet levels in the house without any problems!
Seems like this little canister vac might just stay here for a while.

Nice

I'm glad it works. I realized not to long ago that every belt I had was the same.
You're welcome

James,

I have a copy of a manual you can use. Contact me off-list as I tried to add it here, but it won't let me. G.
