I put this little project together to day . But I don’t know what to call it so I ask you to name it . The neons came from old broken appliances notice the lone green one:)

Very interesting! That green one is way cool. I had a likeness of small neon lamps when I was young also (and still do to an extent). I loved the nightlights that had them inside. I still have my Tom and Jerry N/L from my youth - still works.
My favorite was a little TV set looking box from Citizen's Motor Bank - the screen with the bank's name was lit up by the bulb. No telling where it went...
I use a lot of the neon flickering bulbs around the house for ambience, more for Halloween.
I have some 25 year old dimmer switches that are lit up by some neon bulbs.
I also have some larger bulbs with the multi-colored flowers and such that use different chemicals inside to make the colors.

Ever toss a handful of these bulbs in the microwave? It is quite a disco light show!

Its sad--neon bulbs are being replaced by LEDS.A neon bulb has a look all its own no other lights can duplicate-yes--even neon signs!Love those!!!The LED "replacements"just don't compare!

that beautiful orange glow and that slight flicker gives the little lights so much character. I have a hundreds of them in the shop from parted out power nozzles

I just started collecting them

My favorite one is the green one because I have never seen one before it came out of a old steam shark
