I post this once a year but it works so well and is so easy to do I am always amazed at how quick I am done. I found an improvement this year in the type of cleaner I used. .
Use your Repair Rainbow to clean your blinds. Here is what parts you need:
(1) Motor unit and empty pan
(2) hose
(3) spray gun
(4) extension tube
(5) crevice tool
(6) dusting brush
(7) DAWN dishwashing liquid
Steps:
(1) spray your blind down from top to bottom with sprayer using HOT water and DAWN
(2) let it stand for about 5 minutes
(3) spray again with clean HOT water from top working down
(4) check for any stubborn spots and use the dusting brush to scrub
(5) final rinse
(6) use the crevice tool and work from top to bottom to dry your blind
(7) finish with your small squeegee attached to suction end and clean the window behind your blind.
You will not believe how fast this works and no need to take the blind down. The sprayer uses a very minimum of water , so no mess to clean up and you can control where the spray goes.
I used to use Spic & Span but a friend told to use DAWN and it IS much better with the greasy film.
