I just vacuum the filters on my venmar air exchanger heat recuperator machine 4 huge air duct 3 filters the compact whit the soft dusting brush and lonng hose and crevice tool made shorth work not jsuta show peice it gets put to work to .

The year it was made are the first two numbers on the serial number. If you have an anniversary edition. I have a 45th anniversary edition. I want to say 1988 or 89 dysonman posted when compacts started in a thread a few months ago.

I am sure glad my Compact C9 and Tristar cxl all have there attchmenets and a nice ottaman to store them both work amazing .
