Why does vacuum land take pictures from the iPhone and turn them on their side? I should be able to post them right from my phone

Unfortunately since last March some algorithm in several newer browsers had started to attempt determine the proper orientation of an uploaded photograph by using the EXIF data embedded into the image and then screws up display of photos on various web sites. Websites now have to code photo uploads differently for different devices and browsers.

It's going to be a nightmare to try fix this for each and every version of the browsers in use along with different devices until most everyone is using the updated browsers. I've been able to fix most of it but I have an android phone and need to get my hands on an iPhone so I can figure out the proper coding for iPhones as well. I hope to be able to get an iPhone for testing sometime this fall.

And this isn't just happening here, it's happening on many older websites, here is an example from Craigslist...

What if you took the photo upside down on purpose so that when you upload it to Vacuumland it is turned right side up? lol
