The car wash vacuums I have seen are MONSTERS!!!!!They make central vacuums look like toys!A car wash vacuum is pretty much a central vacuum-a vacuum station at each car wash stall.Becuase of their size they are bagless. They have bag house type filters-the owner shakes the bags into a bin.The large debris has bins at each station and a large one at the main unit. The air pumps for these-multistage blowers are driven by motors from 15-50Hp!Look up car wash equipment to see these beasts-too much for a home or collector unless you have a LOT of space, large amounts of stuff to pick up and have a three phase power supply. Most of these machines are used with 2" hoses and large hand tool attachments. These work on VERY high CFM!!!

Are you talking about these? If so, no way. That would blow my 60 year old wiring in less than 1.3 seconds.

Yes I知 talking about those, one thing I know is that the two motor variants Can normally be run on a 120 V 20 amp service, , As the 240 V versions over here in my country can run off a 10 amp circuit as they have your normal standard central vacuum motors, but every once in awhile you come across one that has a positive displacement blower of some sort, Which then makes it a vacuum that runs off three phase electricity

Oh never heard of that. I never seen one secondhand, if so it would probably be pretty clapped out.

A Car Wash that incorporates the price of the vacuums running costs into their wash prices, enabling people to have free vacuums, I知 planning on converting a central vacuum as it has the capacity of a Car Wash vacuum Into a car wash vacuum using a positive displacement blower and the filters of a central vacuum specifically one of the ones that has a external motor I値l keep the original motor just in case

could you run a dual motor central vac just in your garage. my central vac is built for a much larger house, I asked for a bigger unit.. works great.

These car wash vacuums somehow reminds me our large dust collectors in my previous job. Although hose diameter in these were 4-6 inches.

Shop dust collectors are not meant to be vacuum cleaners. They are designed to collect sawdust, wood dust and shavings from woodworking machines. They don't have the suction "pressure" as vacuum cleaners do.They work on VERY high CFM to work thru the large hoses and pipes. The large pipe hose size is needed to convey large wood shavings and chips. Some wood shop have floor sweeps on the wall controlled by an air gate or valve so they can be used when needed. You sweep sawdust and shavings on the floor into the sweeps so the collector system carries them away into the bin or large bag.

Wow nice, needs some decoration on it to bring out the design, like the logo for the gas station or car wash it came from. It looks like a gas pump!
