Is there a connection between Frantz-Premier and Apex?

This Apex ad mentions the company president, Clarence G. Frantz. Is this the same Frantz - or perhaps a son or relative - as the Frantz in Frantz-Premier?

Yes, I believe that Frantz-Premier was purchased by GE, but Mr. Frantz chose to form Apex. I will dig through my archives and "ferret" out the answer. I know I have it in my research notes about companies, and I think there have been pictures published of Mr. F. At one point he was one of the newly elected officers of the brand-new VCMA when it was first formed (about 1954). He and H. W. Hoover we pretty big fish (in a not-so-small pond).
