What model is this for, and can the ends be put on ?
It’s on eBay.

No pic

Don’t see a pic or link...and is it the gray braided one? If so I saw that too. I’ve never seen an Electrolux hose with no ends. Ends may be able to be put on but not the original way Electrolux did as it was done using an inner collar that was then compressed outward from inside the hose. The collar was placed inside the hose and clamped the hose material between the collar and hose end. Electrolux must have made a special machine that did this.

There was......

a tool....some dealers had it, but not all.

There was a guy about an hr from me that bought out an old dealer after he passed, from the heir. I looked through his stuff for that tool, but never found it. Of course I'm not 100% what it looks like......

That's a non-original (Bojack) hose. They were available through about the end of the 80's from most vac shops.

The generic.....

hose I saw for the G et al back in the day were those light colored accordion like hoses with the ends glued on. I still have one or two somewhere. While they worked, they were cheesy and nothing to write home about.

I suspect that while you could get an OE hose at a dealer, they were cost prohibitive to the average Elux owner whose vac was older.

I agree

On closer look that doesn’t appear to be a genuine AE
Ectrolux product. The coloring scheme is not right.

We also don’t know the condition of the interior material...since it’s old it could crumble quickly.
