Unfortunately I don't have a picture, but will do my best to describe what I mean. I found a picture(lost it, grr)of a Eureka model 10 motor on a model 9 head. The model 10 had a separate, bulkier motor that bolted to the fan housing. The model 9 had a smaller housing that was one piece with the rear fan housing. This had the motor housing off a 10. The 10 also had a larger rear wheel assembly that did not swivel. This machine had the rear wheel off a 9, that did swivel. I should also mention that it had a rebuild bag from the 40s or 50s, brown with the later logo. If anyone should have some info, or even a picture, it is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Sounds like Dr. Frankenstein was doing vacuum cleaner transplants.

This ones called the Special, but if you look closely it has a model 10 motor with a caster and a 9 head. I believe these were shown in a brochure somewhere on here.

Weird. I wonder if 'Special' meant 'we have too many parts of the previous model left over'?
