These have been sold vacuum shops for years I never really thought much of them.
I'm not really a stick vacuum or upright person. But something's age better than others and this Miele really has aged well. With bulky stick vacuums like the Dyson v10/v11 dominating the market. This Miele it becomes more of a bargain every day.
One thing to mention is I accidentally went full Kirby and pulled out a whole bunch of Miele attachments I forgot I had.
They're still available new in the box sure to be a modern classic.
Miele did an ounce with the release of the Triflex they would be discontinuing this machine.

Big mistake discontinuing this!

I love mine! It’s 22 years old and in a really strange shade of green, but it’s so reliable and truly a sealed design that doesn’t leak dust into the exhaust. If it’s really going away, then I’m buying another one.

@luxlife I remember that green color.
I pushed this video ahead of some other videos specifically because, they are discontinued. I wanted as many people to pick them up as possible.

Another collector pulled mine out of the trash and the cord was cut. Not a thing wrong with it. It has excellent suction. The Mieles can use G.E attachments because they are the same diameter. I’m sorry to hear these have been discontinued.

@vacuumdevil.....

Do you remember what year Miele stopped using Ametek/Lamb motors and began making their own? I'm only asking because my older green H1 has the Ametek motor and it's whisper quiet even on the high speed. Some of the newer ones that I've tried have a noticeable high pitch sound similar to their canisters, especially the white H1 with the variable-slide speed control. It's not an objectionable sound at all, just different. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

@luxlife around the turn of the century I believe it was 1999? And then later I'd say around 2003-2004 they went to the vortex domle all style motor.
