Has anyone talked about the Hoover Preferred Lineup? |

No, not referring to those elites, though I did see a Preferred Elite at one of my Goodwills. I'm about talking the Windtunnels that had "Preferred" in their names along with the Windtunnel Name. They'd usually be silver in color.

I have never seen these before. Where they sold exclusively through a certain retailer? Or was there anything else that set then apart other than the color and name? |

These were sold exclusively through Lowe's Hardware stores.
There were a few models, I believe they had a two year warranty as well. All of them had that sparkling glitter gray color. The Windtunnel Preferred canister was model S3641. It was the same build as the Translucent blue Windtunnel Plus S3639 canister that was sold at various other retailers, each having Brush roll on/off switch on gas pump hose and the air turbine tool storage built into the lid for covered tool storage. |
