Just thought I'd share my Hoover Model 541 that I'm selling! It's time for me to downsize the collection, so I figured this would be a good one to start with.

And now I realize that it actually posted to Vintage, when I thought I was on the Super Market page... whoops...

That's a very nice 541. The model 700 bag on it looks great. I have a friend (Bikerray) here on VL who made me original sateen and satin bags for my very vintage Hoovers, as well as rebristled my brush rolls. I sure do love my 541. I wish you great good luck on your sale.

I saw that 541 on ebay this morning.

Where is the bottom plate and the pulley cover ?????

Without the bottom plate screwed on and the pulley cover in place it's not going to vacuum up much of anything.

I just looked at it again, I see where you removed the picture of the underside and replaced it with a picture of the underside with the bottom plate and pulley cover placed in front of it.

So disregard previous reply

@dysonman1: Thank you! They really are great machines; yours looks like another really great one!

@bikerray: Thankfully, someone pointed it out to me this morning that it looks like they're missing, when I was really just trying to get a more detailed shot of the underside. I just didn't realize by not having them in the picture somewhere else, it looked like they were missing! Rookie mistake. I hope not too many potential buyers disregarded it right at the beginning because of that...
