Electro-Hygienes were made by Royal, not Kirby... both companies were founded in Cleveland, OH.
This Electro-Hygiene is a model 285, this one dating from 1975 to 1985 going by the casting designs and Adjust-O-Rite plate. The nameplate that has the model and serial numbers can be found on the back of the nozzle by the front wheels. Example: Model 285, Serial No. L79-D-60841. ~Ben | ||
