My dad just got this robot vacuum for free from the Amazon Vine program. It can simultaneously vacuum & mop floors, and it features intelligent obstacle learning technology, an advanced mapping system, and a camera for easy monitoring. What do you think?

I recently got a 901 and I'm loving it. It has learned the house and vacuums every night at 2am.
1400 sf and it does maybe half of it because of things here and there that it can't really get to and tight spots, plus stay away from Dobby the parrot.I'd love to be on Vine, maybe someday...
That is the one that can identify objects like cords and shoes and things and avoid them I believe, it should be a awesome cleaner and right now is very expensive.
I'd love to hear what he thinks of it and he's a lucky guy to get one of those.

My review

The Deebot runs every night at 10:30 pm without fail. The machine has learned the downstairs floor; one night it got caught on a cord under our entertainment center and let out this pitiful message: "Please help me out." I obeyed its pleas, and the robot just continued cleaning. Since then, it has avoided those cords, meaning that the AI is truly learning.

It has no issues transitioning between hard floors and area rugs. Every morning, I take out the dirt container and it's full, as a result of having a lot of dogs who shed quite a bit.

The robo-vac relies on an app that my dad has installed on his phone, and it has a camera and a remote control feature. The other night, he was playing with that feature, and our new Chihuahua puppy, Trenta, has "stood up" to the robot, and she's quite vicious.

Overall, this robo-vac works really well, certainly a lot better than the previous one we've tried, mainly because of the Deebot's learning ability. One downfall is the mop feature. We've used it a few times, but it barely picks up any dirt and doesn't use much water, which makes me question its true purpose. It certainly doesn't get the floor any clear. Oh, and yes, the robot will avoid a pile of dog poo, which is a relief!
