Hi all,
I'm looking for a basic Nutone electric hose similar to the one pictured below. I prefer this pistol grip over the gas pump style that I currently have with my system. I wouldn't mind finding an Express-style powerhead to accompany it as well. Looking for item(s) that are in great condition for their age.

Thanks for the quick response Greg. I was looking to spend a little less given the age of the product but I'll certainly let you know. I appreciate it!

Evan Rogers can help you. He specializes in Central Vacuums, and trades in Nutones all the time. I guarantee he has the power head and hose you need. Give him a call at his vac shop "The Vac Shack", 636-937-1001 He must have hundreds of good used hoses and power nozzles that he's traded-in on new Wessel Werks tool kits when he sells them a new Modern Day power unit. I got my Express style power head from him.

Thanks Tom! When my Volt died, I tried the Centec battery powerhead and that just felt so cheap in comparison to the Volt. So now I just use my Hide a Hose outlet for the hard floors and furniture. I need an inexpensive, basic electric hose for my cleaning lady to use on the bedroom level of my house. She uses the Wessel Werk kit on the main level but won't carry the hose and nozzle upstairs. Already have my parents very old Nutone 598 powerhead (Roto-Matic style) so it would work perfectly. Nice call on the Express head. I had one at some point and regret getting rid of it. Certainly steers nicer than the Roto-Matic style.

I would also try Owen Perkins. He is on this site also. He owns a Central Vacuum System business. He is another possibility. He is in Chicago and his business is "Just Central Vacuum's."

I'm sure he would have what you need, too.
