Hello, I have seen the words "Kirby G3 with clear Em-Tor" and was wondering what it meant. Is it rare? I get no pictures when searching that. I have a g3 where the Em-Tor is a boot, and the bottom is clear. Is that what it means? Btw, the Generation 3 I have is for sale, $100 plus shipping (I think shipping will be around $50).

Thanks, Garrett

I've never seen a G3 with a clear (I'm reading that to mean transparent) emptor, nor have I seen a suggestion that such a thing existed until now. The closest thing I'm aware of is the Mini Em-Tor that the Heritage II and Legend models used, which was a translucent smoke color that you could see through when it was held up to the light—or at least you could see the dirt inside it.

Garrett,

What you describe could be found on Kirby Generation 3s built in the first year of production of 1990, the first few months (1st quarter: January to March 1990).

Guessing and I'm probably right. The emtor on G3-G7 early sentria have the mini em tor. The clear one is rare but desirability I'm not sure on.
