I decided to bake. A lot. Tom A. was on the phone while I whipped up: Irish soda bread, banana nut bread, zucchini bread. There are currently 15 treats baking in the oven... at 12:20a.m.
Of course. Murphy and Harold (Inspector 12 and 13) are close by. Between those two and the bodies in the house, I'm never alone. I always have fun things to occupy my time. This post was last edited 06/13/2020 at 23:43 |

is always a big hit. It is very moist, largely due to the 6 mashed bananas that go into it.
The pepper cookies are nice and moist, too. I learned how to make them 30+ years ago, i n the rectory. Peggy, the housekeeper, taught me a little trick that makes them fresh and moist. Parchment paper helps a lot, too. (Thanks, Martha Stewart) My cousin's wife made some of the family cookies. They were very dry. Obviously, she did something wrong. Some people get dust changing Convertible bags, have belching cleaners, and make dry baked goods. Some have a skill, a talent, a gift. It's a world gone mad, I tell you. |
