I have recently started cleaning house with newer vacuums, and find my Hoover Air machines do a beautiful job. I like the canister because it can pick up the most difficult things. Greg Palmer told me all about them, and how well they can clean the Karastan. I also need to get out my Hoover Steam Vac and use it. So many stains, so little time.

I've used the Hoover Air Lite before and it's a pretty neat machine for what it is.

I have found myself to be quite happy with the performance of the Air canister as well as the uprights. For vacs made in China, they do clean very well and (as far as I can see) keep the dust inside.

I have the Air steerable upright, works well for me, not a fan of the hose connection port, just constantly falls over.

I gifted my mom with an Air Steerable upright last year for Valentine's Day, and she loves how light it is, particularly for her small apartment with no pets.
