So, while I wait indefinitely for a replacement Filterizer, I decided to try and fix the one that came with my vac.

The seller still had the broken filter and sent it after I asked about it. The original was pretty much snapped off right at the fitting. So, after an hour of trimming down some PVC on my lathe, and very messily carving the inserts, I now have a functioning Filterizer again!

I was worried it would look super janky, but you can't even tell once it's installed. It's not perfect, but for now, at least I can use it.

If you have a dremel with a sanding wheel you can clean that up and smooth out the roughness too.

I love chrome vacuums like that, so unique looking.

Thank's for the positive support all!

@huskyvacs I'm considering getting a cheap HF dremel, as I don't really have use for a dremel otherwise. But I was thinking about it. Honestly, I'm just glad it's working so far.
