Decided that today I wanted to use my vintage Electrolux;

Used the Model G upstairs,  New hose and all polished up.

The stairs and downstairs cleaned with my LX,  This machine all polished up as well.

Both are vacs from my past.

Today I am living lots of great memories!

Where were you able to get the hose? Those are hard to come by.

The hoses

the hose for the LX.I believe is a Kirby hose fitted with cuffs.  I've had it a long time.

The hose for the Model G is genuine Electrolux and I got it from a dealer.

On the Electrolux hose...

How long ago did you get the hose for the G? I need one for my Mother’s L. And most dealers are out of them and apparently they can’t be ordered.

The G hose

Is only a few months old.

I called the local Electrolux dealer near me and ordered it.

Must have been old stock, my dealer said they went out of production around 10 years ago
