Lindhaus Karisma L-ion Digital Pro. Really is The best cordless upright vacuum I have tested used or even seen. I realized after re-watching my own video I did not put the clip with the working vacuum in it my apologies. It got about 40 in of working vacuum.

When will these be available to buy? What does it cost? I’m excited for it because I’d love a bagged HEPA cordless upright with an onboard hose.

@Lux_Luthor A small batch of them was brought in before the pandemic and should be at your local Lindhaus dealer.
See your deal for price.
my understanding is that it varies greatly depending on how you configure it.
$700-$1500 USD

Alex,

I guess we are finally seeing some solid, high performing cordless bagged vacs. This and the cordless Riccar lightweight and the cordless Henry canister seem to be pointing the way.

I am a bit concerned about what these toxic batteries will do to the environment if they aren’t recycled properly. Do you know if Lindhaus, or Dyson, or Numatic have a battery recycling program that is easy for consumers to use? Can we buyers just drop off a dead battery for recycling at our local vac shop or Best Buy?

I saw a cordless with the Valzer model name.

Is this the same as the Valzer, but renamed for our U.S. market?

Friendly reminder that this is a better vacuum then the Lupe cordless.

Have you tried the Lupe cordless? I have one in my living room right now.

How much do these retail for? Are they available in Europe at all under the same or a different brand?

Lindhaus is one of the most known brands and vacuum cleaners. They're out of Italy so presumably they be available in the rest of the European Union.
I can tell you by the numbers and by the crappy nozzle design this thing would spank a Lupe. Not to mention customer service and sustainability for being an established brand.

Lindhaus have never taken off in the UK you might be able to pick up a commercial model but you would have to import domestic models from the EU. They make some very nice cleaners on a par with Sebo.

A few sites I've seen are listing it at $1,499 with the power nozzle. That's quite a lot! But Lindhuas really does build great machines, especially their power nozzles, so I can see some market there.

I agree with eurekaprice, the environmental cost is also something to consider. A corded vacuum can last for decades, and the internals of the Lindhuas could probably last that long, but the battery won't.

Still super cool that this exists.

I didn't know Lindhaus was still in business in the US. I don't think I've seen more than one in my whole life and it was terribly underpowered. That was more than 15 years ago, so maybe they've changed. I don't know of anyone who sells them.

Well, I’m telling you that their availability is poor in the U.K. they aren’t as established as Sebo for example and they are incredibly expensive. Not sure it’s worth over £1000. Because that’s how much it is.

I’d rather a rechargeable vorwerk at that price, but the Lupe is incredibly good at cleaning, sounds a bit silly of you to discount something you haven’t tried yet. It’s like saying a Rolls Royce isn’t as good as your Kia because the steering wheel is the wrong shape. 😂
