I have a Bissell ProLite (3561-2) that baffles me.
Something is very odd with mine at the top of the bag. It appears there should be something along with the screw anchoring the bag to the handle but I am not sure. When I got this machine, I believe this small 1-inch black plastic barrel-like cylinder came out of the inside of the bag when I tipped it upside down. I could not find where it came from and it didn't appear to be missing from a particular spot. I have a sneaky suspicion that this black plastic barrel should go on the outside of the bag behind in front of the handle to act as a spacer of sorts because without it the bag caves in or dents inward when it inflates. The schematics that I have for it shows a #10 x 1/2" sheet metal screw but I cannot tell if there is another piece that should be there.
A picture is worth a thousand words and perhaps may answer my question. I would greatly appreciate it if you could post one here!
