It seems like they did that all the time:
In my 1959 Kirby service manual, only the red attachments (those used since the 516) were offered for models 515 and back. And in my 1974/1977 Kirby service manual, the tan tools and other trim pieces (models 562, Sanitronic VII and Dual Sanitronic 50) were the ones to use for the 500 series. ~Ben |
