Hello,
I purchased this Hoover from eBay. Very nice but the plastic mount holes from this bearing peace are broken. I have to order motor brushes and am afraid it will not go back together. Anyone know an option?

Thanks

"Delrin Bearing"

Well, delrin aka acetal is a common plastic used by machinists, because it's very machinable and takes screw tapping well. In a pinch, find a machinist and ask them to make you a new one. I wonder if it is really a bearing or does it just "bear" something. There are also other types of plastics specifically made to be actual bearing material.
