I just ordered a "used" sebo Felix off of eBay. It's an onyx black one, and it's allegedly "like new" as the seller claims. I offered less than what was posted and we haggled a bit. I will probably take the new brushroll off my x4 and put it on this one because this person sells vacs on their profile and it was not originally theirs. I ordered a new premotor filter and I hope it doesn't stink or anything. I've always wanted a Felix. I've seen some of these ET-1 powerheads with deep scratches in them and they look like they were used to move furniture. I'm sorry, but I won't be pleased if that's what I end up with because of camera/lighting tricks.

Again something I have stressed before, vacuums do not have resale value. There is no way to be sure of usage (mileage, hour usage). All we have is cosmetic blemishes. From what I can see, it looks to be in great shape, though there is no dusting brush that I can see. Hopefully I won't be disappointed. There something that doesn't sit right with me spending hundreds of dollars on a used vacuum and sellers rely on the new price of these vacs and think they can ask high prices. ITS NOT UNDER WARRANTY. Warranty's make up probably 20% of the cost of a dealer vacuum. When you start to add on bags, and filters, plus a new brushroll you can have a new Felix for the price some people are selling these used high end vacs for. Done ranting lol

I hope it turns out to be all that you're hoping for.
I've only recently given a look at the Sebo brand on some YouTube videos, and the Felix seems really impressive!
Keep us posted!

I definitely will! I'm hoping to do a video on it soon. On closer inspection it looks like it is in good condition overall. I wouldn't say "excellent", and it could probably use a good cleaning

I believe I would truly enjoy owning one, but monetarily I just can't

I bought a brand new one last year from a vac store owner on this site. I had looked at them for a while and thought it would be nice to have to add to my collection of newer cleaners. I think it was definitely a worthwhile investment. It does a great job on the wall to wall carpet and by changing heads it is great for my non-carpeted areas. The tools are easy to use and provides versatility. Great filtration too and the variable speed control is a nice touch.

I think you will really like it and let us know.

Enjoy! They're quite an interesting machine and they perform rather well too. They don't come with a dusting brush new or at least they didn't it's kind of annoying that it's not included and that there's no space for it onboard unless you want to ditch the upholstery or crevice tool.

congratulations

Congrats on getting a Felix, hopefully it is in good shape, I've always been a bit hesitant to buy a used vacuum unless I can actually check it out in person first.
I think the Sebo Felix is the best upright cleaner you can get, it provides the flexibility of a canister in an upright form factor. Hopefully the hard floor brush is also included with it. I'm not sure if the brush from the X4 will fit the ET1 powerhead that the Felix uses, but you could try it and see if it will fit. Can't wait to hear what you think of it.

Thanks all of you!

Yeah I'm very excited, also shocked to see it is being delivered tomorrow! From Florida! And I live in Northeastern US lol. We will definitely see! In the photos there was no hard floor tool included, nor was it mentioned. Upon further inspection it looks like the handle height adjuster has a chip of plastic missing on it which is a bummer, but oh well. I'm very particular when buying from eBay and I don't hesitate to file a claim, which sounds awful, but some people are just trying to make a quick buck at others expense by lying or trying to take advantage of people's lack of knowledge. Then the other part is trying to explain to eBay.
