Found an image on the web of an Oreck that is labeled as the "XL Big Foot". Can anyone tell me about these?

The L shaped head was the same one used on the 3500 canister. I believe the machines were manufactured by Douglas, who was a former subsidiary of Scott & Fetzer acquired by Oreck. Here is a picture from lux1521.
