Anyone know the color sequences or have a list of the years color series were made since the electrolux name was dropped? Trying to age a few Aerus machines I recently acquired which do not have the Electrolux name on them at all. Also would like to know generally what year ranges the color were.

One is a Lux Legacy in the very very light powder blue (almost white) with light medium blue trim it’s Model C153C. Another is a Lux Classic in medium gray body with a black to it is Model C151D.

Both have the large orange printed LUX word on the power nozzle. I know they changed the color and font printing on the power nozzles periodically.

Wondering if anyone has an up to date Aerus chart like they have at the stores. All I’ve seen is the one that was put together on EZ vacuum web site that transitions to the Eureka Electrolux’s from 2003 on and that’s not helpful.

This might be entirely unhelpful, but I do know the color sequence if not the exact years:

2003 was supposed to be the last year any products had the Electrolux name. The Aerus name was probably used some before that, but if we're going off of Aerus only...

LEGACY
[formerly the Electrolux Epic and Aerus 7000]
Epic 6000 -- Steel Wand -- blue/sand
Epic 6500 -- Plastic Wand -- blue/sand, grey/grey, oyster/grey, white/blue
Lux 7000, 2003ish-2005ish -- white/blue again
Legacy, 2005ish-2007ish? -- white/blue again
Legacy, 2007ish-2013 -- white/grey -- **Note: 2013 machines had a BLACK cord vs the previous grey
Legacy, 2014-present -- black/grey

CLASSIC
[this "flat top" machine is shady to me because it's had a million different names, some with the suction dial and some without. To me, the Classic is the flat top machine without a suction dial. It appears it was previously called the Ambassador, dating back to the 1521 metal body machines]

Ambassador -- various colors, usually matching the Epic 6000/6500 models but also dating back before the Epic 6000
Aerus Lux 5500, 2003ish-2005ish -- white/blue, coincides with Lux 7000
Classic, 2005ish-2007ish -- grey/charcoal, coincides with first white/blue Legacy
Classic, 2007ish-2013 -- white/grey -- **Note: 2013 machines had a BLACK cord vs the previous grey
Classic 2014-present -- black/grey

GUARDIAN ULTRA
Version 1 -- No "Aerus" on trim, single-sided floor tool, old style/Legacy power nozzle, grey cord
Version 2 -- "Aerus" centered on trim, reintroduce combination/flip/2-sided floor tool, new PN
Version 3 -- "Aerus" moved to rear trim
Version 4, 2013 -- black power cord

I don't know if it's helpful to the OP, but I found it interesting.
I just picked up a used, white with grey trim Aerus Legacy. When I contacted Aerus, they informed me that it was built in October of 2013, and first sold in December of that year.
Based on your timeline, I'm guessing that makes it pretty near the last of the white ones built.
I have three different colors of Epic 6500, and this is my first Aerus.
I also have one dark grey Ambassador III.
Not that anyone asked.

Barry
