Testing from hose not directly from the inlet. So are u saying upgrade the hose maybe...I mean the motor is caked with dust . |

Check the hose at the front of the vacuum, also, there is a filter in the back that could be clogged, remove the 2 thumb screws and there is a felt filter in there. |

and I'm glad it was just the hose. Were you able to check your carbon brushes? |
