The reducer 2.5-1.5. attach hose and power nozzle.
There is a power supply cord wired to the power switch on the vacuum power switch? Then it's pigtailed off with power nozzle wires and pigtails to power nozzle. The vacuum power switch turns on vacuum and power nozzle? Thanks for the pics really cool setup. Les |

I did watch the video again.
I have the wire setup almost done. I need to either solder wires to pig tail or attach a pigtail onto end of the power cord. I've not attached to shop vac yet. I have pics of testing making sure it would work. It does. Thanks Les |

The bag makes a difference. I have projects I was unaware of. I get to take down the ceiling fan fix the loose power wire and reinstall. I went and picked up a peddal boat that I drove about an hour and a half to get.
I have a few other things too. I'm thinking about changing my setup for shop vac like your setup. I want to use different power heads. I can also use small nozzle for pet hair. Nice setup and with 24' hose. Les |

Very cool setups guys. Les, I see you used a Kenmore/Cleva PN on your setup.
I have a Kenmore Cleanmore carpet cleaner/wet dry vac from estate sale. Later they sold a power nozzle for them, so I got one off eBay. It has a long grounded power cord which straps to the hose and plugs into the outlet for the pump and then you set the pump switch to high to turn on the PN or off to shut off the brush. Like most shop vac style vacuums it has good airflow so it cleans carpets well. The power nozzle does not have a height adjustment of any sort that I can tell but it does have a headlight. |

I didn't think I asked you to show me. I asked him for his setup.
You have a shop vac and a power nozzle. You can convert with minimal amount of money. I'm not going to spend over $300 for a numatic Henry when the setup here is just as good if not better power and performance wise. I'm glad you instead of me realized this hasn't been done before. I appreciate the feedback. Is there anything else you would like to add. Thanks for answering my request on the setup. Fan of fans it is a Kenmore power nozzle. I don't have any other parts to match. I got a good deal on eBay for it. Its pretty powerful. The switch setup sounds pretty good if I have a spare longer cord that may be a solution. Thanks Les If I blocked someone how are there posts now visible? |

Here's pictures of my PN and setup. Sorry for the messy picture of the setup, I didn't take the solution tubing off before taking the picture. Of course you wouldn't use the solution spray with the dry power nozzle. LOL

Hi Greg,
This dry power nozzle came along later in the early 90s, when they added a disposable bag to these cleaners. I think any shop vac liner should fit. This light gray/blue and then a white/green which matched the final white/green Cleanmore that was discontinued after 1995 when the turtle shaped cleaners replaced them in '96. My machine just has a cloth filter, but I plan to make a covering for it with a HEPA bag, since there is no way to fit a bag on these 80s models. I don't have the Spraymate attachment, but I'd like to get one in the matching colors. All I have is the floor cleaning tool, but I'd like the upholstery tool as well as the squeegee and other vacuuming attachments. But any 1-1/4" tools will fit. |

Is this the wands with power cord I would need for the Kenmore power nozzle?
Thanks Les

Mike, I really do like the PN. I haven't gotten to use it though other than once when I first got it.
My machine does not have a way to take bags, so I'm trying to come up with a paper or cloth cover for the filter. I got a NOS filter for it on eBay since it didn't come with one, and I don't want it to get dirty. Might cut up a HEPA bag or something to put over it. |
