Someone posted today on the Contemporary Forum of the changes on the Aerus site. No more vacuum cleaners. I was disappointed that they no longer show vacuums for sale. I should have suspected something when the longtime Electrolux guy who sold me a pigtail hose was pushing the air filters. If you are interested in maintaining your vintage Electroluxes with genuine parts, I would grab as many as you can since they will probably not last long. Aftermarket parts will probably be available for a while but they will probably die off. Should have realized this was coming when the quality of the C bags started deteriorating.

Yeah, they are just forwarding everyone to the Beyond site because of the coronavirus. Still making vacuums and parts. |

The type c vacuum bag isn't going anywhere. There are quite a few machines they work for. If your selling vacuum bags type c covers multiple machines and there not specialized. There kind of like f&g bags.
I don't have an electrolux anymore. I had a newer one for a couple months. I do know that there pretty much the gold standard for canisters since 1930s. You have to think with as many machines out there somebody probably will pick up rights and sell parts. Idk I wouldn't worry yet. Les |
