So this is the second machine I got from the same lady, this one a upright with brand new attachments.
The base was severely yellowed and the fan mad a noise when it ran, the bearings were also shot.
The cord too was a little short for my liking :)

The motor was stripped, new 608 bearings fitted.
You cant get the belts for these machines anymore so I used the large belt from a dyson dc14 clutch. Worked a treat

The attachments are new, the extention tubes are very long, longer than any I have found before, much longer than any on modern day vacuums that still use two separate tubes.
The hose is also very long for a upright vacuum, especially a budget one like this one

Their are two base plate covers that clip over the base plate of the machine, one is obviously for hard floor vacuuming as it has a felt strip( that fell off and I forgot to add it back for the pic ) it also fearures the lever to activate the higher wattage button like the converter plate.
The other plate has a odd extra side piece on one side and little pins and a very narrow opening but does not have the lever to operate the higher suction. The instructions have no info on the tool usage

All hooked up, the only issue is the machine is very light and you can easily tip the machine over when just moving the hose slightly

Nice. It doesn't have its own cord? Do you just use any old extension cord, or does it come with one?

Interesting little vacuum and attachments-like the idea of the pigtail cord-you can then get a cord as long or short as you need.Does this use disposable bags? or is it a dump bag?

I think the cord shorted out at some stage and someone cut it off. It normally has a long cord on it.
I simply fitted a new cord.

It can take paper bags but I think allot of people used it without.

This machine was sold in the Usa under the Regina brand but with a different hood

This looks very similar to the Regina Brush 'N Beat.

but it is branded Fakir. I've also seen them branded Genie, Eatons Viking, Clarke 500.

Beautiful lightweight machine!
