I can't seem to find belts for my Convertibles. I bought a bunch of them on Ebay and they don't fit. They are too small. I read somewhere that soaking them in hot water will make them pliable enough to stretch to fit. Sometimes it worked. But, even then, they broke within about thirty seconds. I just ordered some from Evacuums and hope they will work. Anybody have thoughts/suggestions? I have quite a few Convertibles that I can't use because of this issue. Any advice is welcomed. Thanks! I have been testing a Eureka RD belt in my Hoover Convertible. It works fairly well, it's slightly bigger than convertible belts so it slips some in thick carpet but other than that it works fine. I've vacuumed my house about 7 times with it and it still works. If you can't get any Hoover belts that work I say try a Eureka style RD.
