I am going to start selling off some vacuums. I had made a post a few months ago in hopes someone would come take a load of them, but lost sight of the goal after the sudden passing of my father.

This time I will be taking a more measured approach.

First up, I have an Electrolux CA. I love this machine, but it takes up so much space and I believe someone else can appreciate it more than me. It has a 700 watt motor from the factory, which I know to be extremely uncommon. I don’t know of another CA (or any Lux from this period, for that matter) with a > 5xx watt motor.

The vacuum has very clearly been used, but runs super smoothly with stellar suction. There is some denting near the bottom, some small rusted areas in the bag cage, and some rips (which would easily be repaired) in the outer bag. Obviously, the paper bag in the machine is the only one I have due to them being NLA. Same goes with the after filter.

With this vacuum, I will let go of the early PN-1 pictured, which is an early one from the Model G era (note no clean out port and no reset switch). I have installed an OEM Electrolux three row Pn-1 brushroll in the power nozzle, which makes it a real cleaning beast. I believe the power nozzle that came with the machine would have had the three row brushroll, so that is a nice bonus. The brushroll was NOS and has only been used less than ten times since installation. The hose included is a turquoise G era hose, but not the longer length that would have originally come with the cleaner. It holds suction relatively well.

Due to its size, I will absolutely not ship this machine. Some machines I have to sell later will be available for shipping. Pickup would be in Kentucky - 40205 or 42129. For the right price, I would be willing to meet somewhat farther away.

I will entertain reasonable offers, but don’t have to sell immediately. Adult collectors only, please. My email is listed in my profile.

I have attached some pictures below, and will also post a video. If nothing else, it will be nice to have a video out there of such a rare machine with an even rarer motor :)
