Wasn't the green painted commercial Kirby 500 style machine called the Lincoln Super Sweep? I know they made the blue version. Also, good luck finding one! They're really hard to come by and most collectors who have one won't want to part with it!

I have the red white and blue American Lincoln 180 made in 1984 one of the last ones produced.
The two green janitronics I've located 2 both in New York in the last year. The mint one was asking $300 plus $150 shipping. The other had the vacuum but I'm thinking someone died they inherited it. She seemed like a crack head.
There out there. It's rare to find but I like to ask once in a while.
I did a pictorial of mine American Lincoln fully disassembled and Chris's Comvac 1300.
NIB.
If you look back last year you can find it. I put an amodel fan on mine.

Les,

And this is the Super-Sweep I am looking for: from 1979. Much like the one you have, but this one has the metal fan. I am also looking for the associated parts manual (picture 3).

If I get a green janitronic I planned on working something out for you to get mine.
I like it but my favorite Kirby is d80.
Is there two or 3 versions of American Lincoln green janitronic.
Army green, the green ooie has
I know copper d50!one and 560.
I was thinking. The 560 they thought was a prototype was a janitronic with paint sanded off. Then added 560 outer body.

Les,

The Janitronic, produced from 1967 to 1969, had the same coppertone trim as the 562 to Dual Sanitronic 50. It was also the only one of the 18" wide commercial cleaners in which the head could easily be removed, to clean the fan case of hair and lint.

The first American-Lincoln Super-Sweep, in emerald green (the one you are still looking for), has the standard 2-wire type cord set (models 516 to Tradition 3CB). It also has a riveted model plate. It was produced from 1969 to 1974 and ran from serial nos. 1001 to 110000.

The second one, which recycled the Dual Sanitronic 80's army green trim, was the first to have the 3-wire cord set and the mylar name plate. It was produced from 1974 to 1979 and ran from serial nos. 110001 to 210000.

The one I want, in blue and white, was the first one to have the Classic-style carbon brushes, carbon brush holders and field terminal clips. It was produced from 1979 to 1982 and ran from serial nos. 210001 to 285000.

You might have to settle for a Kirby ComVac 1300. It's a very similar machine, but it's a little bit easier to find.

I had an opportunity to buy a comvac. It was HMCs aka Chris. He sold it on eBay for $650 or close to it.
I like the d80 and the janitronic may not be found. I do have a Kirby heritage 2 13. It's almost as rare and is basically a Comvac.
I found an all original 505 one owner in very good condition.
I have some pretty rare vacuums but it makes finding one even sweeter.
Thanks for the clarification Ben.

Is this one of the items you are looking for?

It isn’t perfect. I’m actually planning on polishing it, but you will see in the pics that the right side, where it hooks onto the exhaust, the connector is broken on that side. Maybe you can think of something to make it work. I dunno. Here’s some pics.
