It is German the rest I'm basing on it looks exactly like the Electrolux.

I thought about buying one of these. But I didn’t see anything on VL about them, which made me hesitant.

If it operates as described, then it should be a good cleaner. As far as I know, Amazon is about the only place with consumer reviews on them. Amazon does have a good return policy, so if possible, I’d recommend buying “shipped and sold by Amazon”—but not the “Amazon Warehouse”.
