The Lindhaus Activa 30 upright is a forgotten gem of a machine.
the same as one of the most meticulous well-thought-out machines I've seen in a long time and I had seen it years ago ,but it has been a long time since I had used one. So I decided to do a review why I had the chance.

Looks like an excellent cleaner Alex, definately a rival to the Sebo X or G series.
I'd like to see them move away from paper bags though.

I'm curious

Was that prototype hose any larger in diameter than the previous generation? Oddly they've used a 32mm hose with 35mm ends in the past.

@Blackheart I'm not sure what the hose diameter was I didn't take a mccrometer with me. The best I could say about that this may be compared to the intro of the video where I show the standard hose next to it?

Interesting vacuum-like the Sebo X series better.Better bags and filters. The paper bags need to go in a high performance vacuum as this would be.The paper can burst with the more powerful motors and fans used today. The small filter in the bag chamber isn't likely to do a good job of keeping stuff out of the motor in case the paper bag should pop.

I think I would prefer the Sebo too. I like the fact they have the main filter before the motor which gives it excellent protection and a long life. I would like to see a clutch system added so you can turn off the brushroll for use on hardfloors.

I have Many,Many canisters for the hard floors and other vacuuming duties-like the Kirby and Royals use the Sebo for my WW carpets. The brushroll clutch would indeed be nice.Would also be helpful for hand tool use with the hose. You could use the Sebo like a "canister" buts its clumsy for that purpose.

@vacfan198 @tolivac

You're talking about a SEBO upright for hard floor cleaning.
That's a SEBO Felix I'm sure you both have heard of it. 😁

Smart-ass comments aside. lindhaus also makes a machines like that with a brush roller that shuts off if that's your deal.
It's unfortunate I really don't have a video on one.
This is available with a HEPA bag.

on the note of having the main filter before the motor you're going to love the new Lindhaus that is coming out. It might be in the background.

Yes Alex the Felix has these features but why limit the X series to just carpet cleaning why not add a clutch system so it can be used on a hardfloor?

@vacfan1982 that's not really the mission of the X or G series.

The 370 which runs is there premium upright does have this feature as well.
That 370 is a 2 motor unit.
