School is closed for 4 weeks for us. Think we might be a bit over exaggerating this?

Do you have to "make up" the 4 weeks of school closure later?IE the schools stay OPEN for 4 weeks after the usual closing date that would end the normal school season.

We don't know, but it sounds like that we don't have to make up the 4 weeks

Well yes, we are overexaggerating this. But it's better to be safe than sorry. I think that's sorta the whole idea. Also, we've been very careful and fortunate in the States, other countries like China and Italy have been hit a lot harder.

Here schools were supposed to only get an extra week of spring break at first. Then it was the end of April, and now it looks like they're going to go to online classes only for the rest of the year at least. I guess all non-instructional staff such as clerical, guidance, janitors, coaches, cafeteria workers, bus drivers and mechanics, IT, and anyone else I missed is out of work for the foreseeable future. :(

Yeah

it's sad to think about. A lot of salons in our area (my mom works for one) are closing because of this and it's going to hit hard for a lot of people.
