Hey all!

FanOfVacuums2 and I were at the Hamilton Tool store in Beaver Falls, PA, and stumbled across an Electrolux CB with a hose and a filter for $20, and couldn't buy it. It is on the top floor toward the front of the building next to the other shop vacs. I hope this would be the correct place to post it, but some local folks may want to grab it.

Also, there was a nice Dominion box fan for $20 also at the same store for those who also like fans.

How does it work?!?!

Did you happen to see how it worked? How's the condition of the machine?

I think if you plug it in. Then you push the power button. Jk just perfect setup.

It looked good

I looked in the container, etc. and the filter, basket, and all were there. It was used, of course, but appeared to be in decent condition. Inside of them is a standard Electrolux dual-stage motor, so they are rather indestructable, and are also not uncommon if a replacement is necessary.

Thank you for the heads up!

Sounds good to me...will check it out then! Thank you!

Iirc it's like a shop vac. It was sold for commercial use and engineered like shop vacs. I've read mixed reviews on it fro archives.
It's a shop vac with one of the more powerful electrolux motors and lots of breathing room. It's not confined to a cannister. If it has prongs for a power nozzle don't pick up liquids.
I'd buy it electrolux motors and vacuums are usually pretty solid.
Its a 1205 motor in a shop vac.

I used to have two Electrolux "shop vac" style machines. One of them was for dry pickup only-the other for wet or dry-sold them to a collector here. They came from a vac shop here-long closed-the Lux vacuum owner never picked them up after basic repairs. So they were sold to me.For what its worth found Shop Vac paper bags could fit the dry pickup machine.

There's one on eBay I saw for like $200? So if you can get this one for $20 - by all means do.
