Well as some of you who have me on the facebook are aware there was an incident in my truck this past week involving a can of Dr. Pepper exploding all over my backseat. I did not have any rags with me, so I wiped up the floor when I got home and grumbled that I would clean up later.

Well I always wanted to use the handy dandy sprayer with my Electrolux so out came the garage Franken L and my Diamond Jubilee to shampoo the seats and give the poor little truckling an overdue cleaning.

Not a bad way to spend a Sunday morning, vacuuming to the sounds of Miss Patsy Cline...

Mixing the shampoo and water in the reservoir from my B-8 shampooer.

I've been using generic shampoo in it. Does Aerus still sell the original scent of shampoo? Good god I miss the scent of that!

The poor Franken L on blower duty...

Found this old girl at a yard sale with no cord or tools. Slapped a generic hose on her and a cord reel and because I cant seem to get the odor from that house out of this one I keep it in the garage to use in the vehicles. House reeked like a combination of cigarettes, pot, and musty house. I scrubbed the entire canister and motor and it still smells, though not near as bad

Seats are drying now. Another vacuuming with the sidekick tonight and it should be all set!

Hmm so what did you do? Just spray it on then let it dry and revacuum?

I have the same sprayer came with my XXX when my Grandmother bought it new. She’s long gone and so is her daughter, my Aunt who inherited it and the house as she never moved out...now I have it as the only interested party when the house emptied. I’ve never used the thing and I think the knob on the top of mine is long gone.

More details on how it worked for you please!

Jon

Spray it on, immidiatly scrub in with a hand brush to agitate (I do it one seat at a time), let dry completely, and vacuum with electric powered nozzle (Sidekick) to shake crystalized shampoo with dirt out
