Hey everyone. If anyone lives in northern California and you love Kirby's your going to want to keep reading.
There is a seller that has 15 or so Kirby's. He has a original 513 and the creme de la creme 505 original bag, nozzle and cord.
Hera the conditions. You have to take all the vacuums. I got him to cut his asking price in half.
Yes I offered good money for the 505 but it's a or nothing pickup only.
If interested post here or email me. The lower price he agreed on.
If your doubting it's a good 505. I mean polish up be worth it. It's people dream machine.

The listing is legit. The 505 is completely original, and I’m sure there are people who would spend more than his original asking price on that machine alone. It boggles my mind when people do an all or nothing listing. I realize the seller wants to get rid of all of the machines, but it just seems odd that he refuses to sell that one on its own - he could have a very nice sale on that machine - more than he’d get for all of the others.

I was just about to take another look and saw that the listing has expired.

Les - did you finally convince him to sell you a couple of them?

No

The dude wants all sold but for half of asking. I tried like 4 times he got blunt and no way.
Thomas I don't want to tell where I seen it because I found it and I don't want someone just getting it becaue I tipped them off.
If I got heads up on 508-512 bags or green janatronic I'd be more willing.
I think there is 2 more 505 nozzles and a 508 nozzle. He did say he wants to keep like an Omega, classic 3 and a tradition.

If anyone is able to get this collection I'll tell that person.
If I had a 4 day weekend gas money id drive 10 hours pick it up.
Les

I'll tell anyone interested. Craigslist had an add in north north eastern california. I want to say just north of the northern most part of sierra nevada mountains.
He has 15-20 Kirby's. The bags are on the wrong machines or nozzles. He has a 505 with original handle, original bag, original but not on every model a vulcanized plastic bag topper. I believe original cord too. The nozzle was not on the 505. It was on 560 I'm guessing.
He has 505 and 1 maybe 2 505 nozzles on other machines. He has a 508 belt lifter on a 515. He has a 513 original everything. He had from 513 to 562 about 7 models. He has a s7,d50,d80 a classic,2 omegas, a classic 3 a bag and emtor for a classic 3, 3 traditions. He has a 13" nozzle with a blue belt lifter on a tradition. He has the very back of a large suv full of attachments. He may have a 505 nozzle in it he didn't know.
I offered $150 for 505 and 513. I also offered $125 for 505. He will not ship he will only sell altogether. He wants to keep a tradition and i think an Omega. I told him he lives in BFE and it's a drive for anyone. If i found a buyer would he do $120 and he would. It's a large haul. If you have watched ebay in the last 6 months 2 Kirby's sold for over $1500. The 505 is probably most coveted vacuum Kirby made. The vacuette is more older collectors or seasoned collectors. The dual sanitronics are either love or hate. The 16 inch are nice. The 505 is rare but much more obtainable than vacuette.
This is my opinion please don't post on how I'm wrong.
It's the Kirby and it has the bag topper, etc. These 505s are rare to find in one piece original. I didn't want to post details as i hoped id obtain it.
I just want to see someone get the Kirby and 15 other Kirby's... My phone is a POS and i have factory reset it erasing all pics.
I usually don't harass sellers but this guy i drove him nuts.
If you live within 3-4 hours of susanville california let me know. The ad expired and he emailed me asking if I found anyone.

A road trip I'd like to take to be honest. Did it seem like he was in a hurry to sell? I could and would go, but I'd need to put in vacation time for work. I drove up to Merced not too long ago for a 508.
