This vacuum is from 1920. It was Air-Way's first vacuum cleaner. It just turned 100 years old this year.
I paid $50 for mine in 2018 in "found in a garage attic" condition (no front wheels, some moth chewing on bag, frayed cord, warped wheels).

Interestingly I have the first model, from 1920. It has a black painted rear wheel bracket, a very primitive swivel and a black painted nozzle tube, and three outer bag closers that hung from the handle.
The Air-Way in the picture that's for sale is from the late 1920's. Nice looking machine and the outer bag is in great condition. | ||

Its in my storage unit, I'll see what model this one is next time I go. I picked up a user's guide that seems to have the same model in the illustrations and it was dated in 1928 or 29. No I dont have the felt attachment for this. Being that shipping will be crazy for this, I'd be willing to take $40 for it. You guys are fellow vacuum enthusiasts and I'm happy to see this go to someone that will take good care if it. I would be willing to take a trade for this too, less the $40, and we would mainly just pay for shipping.
