~ That's a cheapie replacement hose. I had one of these beasts once upon a time. The hose was gold vinyl, rather heavy and thick-walled -- as over-engineered as the whole thing was. CLICK HERE TO GO TO electrolux137's LINK |

I read that whole story and reminds me of the Tucker, a car a man built that surpassed the big three and it was the big three that put him out. |

I have a Haley's Comet. Talk about an overgrown Compact on steroids. It's very heavy and hard to move around. It IS a conversation piece. The rug tool is useless unless you are on a wool area rug. Every time I use it I turn it right back off again and put it away, remembering why exactly I don't care for it.

doesn't the tool rack remind you of a converted record player 45 record rack? I can see adding a thick plastic horizontal panel, drilling holes for the tools and attaching that slanted grid-work to cradle the floor tool. |
