The one near me is still an Oreck store, but they now carry Miele and Tacony products as well. They seem to talk down Oreck, they really aren't interested in selling them anymore. Miele makes superior machines so that is reasonable.
Oreck products have their niche. But with more homes moving to hard flooring it makes sense to just buy a canister. The Oreck Pod looks like an interesting Dyson competitor, it is a little pricey for me to justify buying one though. |
